Kokomo World Cup Prediction — Competition Rules
Last updated: 3 June 2026
These Official Rules govern the Kokomo World Cup prediction competitions operated by Kokomo Games (“Kokomo”, “we”, “us”) at pickem.kokomo.games/worldcup. By entering any competition you agree to these Rules, together with Kokomo’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the general Terms, these Rules apply to these competitions.
The short version
- Three competitions. The Full Bracket and Knockout-Only are free skill contests — you win by predicting accurately. The Raffle is a prize draw with a free entry option (no purchase necessary).
- Advertised prize amounts are maximums and assume at least 500 entries in a competition. Below that, Kokomo and Avalanche Team1 (who funds the prizes) may reduce, consolidate, or substitute prizes at their discretion. Final prizes are confirmed after entries close.
- AVAX, NFT and bonus-cash prizes are funded by our ecosystem partners. This event is not affiliated with FIFA or any official tournament organiser.
- You must be 18+ and eligible where you live. One account per person. Play fair — cheating means forfeiture.
1. The competitions
These Rules cover three separate competitions that run during the tournament:
- Full Bracket — the main competition. Free to enter. Skill-based.
- Knockout-Only — a “second chance” for players who join after the group deadline. Free to enter. Skill-based.
- Raffle — a prize draw. Entries can be earned for free or purchased; no purchase is necessary.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live).
- The competitions are void where prohibited. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws; entry is not permitted where it would be unlawful.
- One account per person. Multiple, duplicate, or fraudulent accounts are not eligible.
- Kokomo team members and contractors are not eligible to win prizes. (Kokomo partners and ambassadors may take part and win.)
- Crypto prizes (AVAX and the Kokomon NFT) require a compatible self-custody wallet (e.g. Core). Bonus-cash prizes are credited to your Kokomo account.
3. How to enter
3.1 Full Bracket (main competition) — free, skill
Predict group-stage standings, the eight wildcard (best third-placed) teams, the knockout bracket, and the champion. You may optionally apply one Group Confidence pick to double the points earned in a single group of your choice.
- Submit your group predictions before 11 June 2026 (first kick-off) to be eligible for the main pool. After the deadline, group predictions lock; knockout predictions continue as the tournament progresses.
- Free to enter. Your rank is determined solely by the points you earn for correct predictions (see Section 5).
3.2 Knockout-Only (second chance) — free, skill
For players who join after the group deadline. The Knockout-Only competition opens around 25 June 2026. Predict the knockout bracket only. Free to enter and scored on your knockout predictions.
3.3 Raffle — prize draw, no purchase necessary
Hold raffle tickets to be entered into a single draw on 19 July 2026. Tickets can be obtained two ways, with an equal chance of winning per ticket:
- Free — complete promotional tasks (e.g. follow our partners on X, like / retweet / quote our announcement, post your bracket, connect a Core wallet) and refer friends, up to the free-entry cap.
- Paid (optional) — buy tickets at $0.50 each (in USDC/USDT), up to 100 tickets per person.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win the Raffle. Free and paid tickets have identical odds per ticket. Your overall chance of winning depends on the total number of tickets entered in the draw.
4. Prizes
Cash-value prizes are paid in AVAX (Avalanche) unless stated otherwise, and are funded by Kokomo’s ecosystem partners.

4.4 Minimum participation & prize scaling
Advertised prize amounts assume a minimum of 500 valid entries in a competition. If a competition receives fewer than 500 valid entries, Kokomo and its prize-funding partner Avalanche Team1 may, at their sole and joint discretion:
- reduce prize amounts;
- reduce the number of paid places, or consolidate or withhold prize tiers;
- reduce or cancel the random-winner bonus; or
- substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.
Advertised amounts are maximums, not guarantees. Whether to award full, reduced, or substituted prizes when participation is below the 500-entry threshold is at the sole discretion of Kokomo and Avalanche Team1. Final prize amounts and the number of winners are confirmed by Kokomo and Avalanche Team1 after entries close for each competition.
5. Scoring, ranking & ties
- Points are awarded automatically for correct predictions, per the scoring shown in-game (group positions and bonuses, wildcards, champion, knockout results, and any Group Confidence multiplier).
- Match results are taken from our official data provider. Where a fixture is abandoned, postponed, or its result later corrected, Kokomo applies the data provider’s final outcome.
- Players are ranked by total points, highest first. Ties are broken in favour of the earliest submission.
- Final standings are determined once all relevant matches are scored. Kokomo’s determination of results and winners is final.
6. Winner notification & prize fulfilment
- Winners are identified from their Kokomo account and contacted via the email or social account linked to that account, and/or via the Kokomo Discord.
- To receive crypto prizes you must provide or have connected a compatible wallet address; the Kokomon NFT requires a connected Core wallet. Bonus cash is credited to your Kokomo account.
- Avalanche Summit tickets are subject to availability and the event organiser’s own terms; Kokomo may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
- You must claim or confirm your prize within 7 days of being notified, or the prize may be forfeited and re-awarded.
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Kokomo may require identity verification before paying prizes and will not pay prizes where prohibited by law.
7. Changes, postponement & cancellation
- If the tournament is materially disrupted, or in the event of fraud, technical failure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Kokomo may modify, suspend, extend, or cancel any competition or the Raffle draw, or adjust dates and prizes accordingly.
- If the Raffle is cancelled, paid ticket purchases will be refunded (in coins or USDC equivalent). Free entries carry no monetary value and are not refundable.
- The Full Bracket and Knockout-Only competitions are free to enter and carry no entry fee, so there is nothing to refund if they are changed or cancelled.
8. Fair play
- One account per person. No bots, scripts, automated entry, collusion, or multiple / forged social accounts to farm free tickets or distort standings.
- Kokomo may void entries, withhold or reclaim prizes, and disqualify players for any breach of these Rules or our Terms of Service.
- Prizes are funded by Kokomo’s ecosystem partner Avalanche Team1. Kokomo administers the competitions; Kokomo and Avalanche Team1 jointly retain discretion over prize amounts and scaling, as described in Section 4 above.
- This event is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, or any participating association or team. Team and tournament names are used for identification and editorial purposes only.
10. General
- These Rules are governed by the laws stated in Kokomo’s general Terms of Service.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kokomo’s total liability in connection with any competition is limited to the value of the prize at stake.
- Questions? Reach us in the Kokomo Discord.
Kokomo may update these Rules from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the World Cup page or our channels.
